About Derek Wang:
Derek Wang is an award–winning journalist with more than 15 years of experience in public radio. He is currently KUOW's host for NPR's "All Things Considered," after spending a couple of years hosting "Morning Edition."
Derek has previously worked as a reporter and producer at KUOW. Before he arrived in Seattle, he worked at the public radio station WNYC and at CBS News.
Derek has a B.F.A in Film from New York University and a M.S. in Journalism from Columbia University. He is a native of New Jersey, and a huge fan of the New Jersey Devils because he incredulously believes the team's several Stanley Cup titles give displaced New Jerseyans something not to feel ashamed about.
