About Bill O'Grady:
Bill O'Grady is at the microphone Monday through Friday evenings. He also voices the underwriting announcements heard throughout the day (the ones that begin, "Support for KUOW comes from..."). As senior announcer, Bill's voice is significant in the overall sound of the station.
Bill attributes his radio voice to being a dedicated listener of "Firesign Theatre" as an adolescent and young adult. His first radio job was with KUOW in 1986, writing scripts for a program called "Performance Northwest."
Bill is an avid bicyclist, musician and audiophile, guitar technician and home improvement buff.
