About Carolyn Adolph:
Carolyn Adolph chose public radio after newspaper careers in Toronto and Montreal. She joined the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation in 2001; one of her first reporting assignments was in Ottawa on September 11. Her beat became geekily Canadian: official bilingualism and Quebec politics for example.
Carolyn moved to the United States in 2005 with her husband, also a journalist, and two stressed–out children. California didn't suit. Seattle does: Carolyn came to KUOW in 2008 where she remains the journalist in charge of the Public Insight Network. The network is an open door to the newsroom. Anyone can become a source and share what they know with our reporters and producers. Check out kuow.org/publicinsight.
