Medicare Drug Plan Update

Medicare's new presciption drug plan is huge - the biggest change to the federal health care system since the 1960s. But the new drug benefit is not going down easy according to some pharmacists, senior citizens and advocacy groups. Up to 600,000 low-income seniors were over-charged when they were automatically switched to the new plan, for example. We check in with a panel of health care professionals to see how Medicare Part D is working in practice. We also want to hear from listeners: are you confused? Have you selected a plan? If so, how do you like it? Do you have prescription drug coverage for the first time? Or, are you waiting until the May 15 deadline?
