What's the most important thing you learned in school?

John Moe
09/18/2006

Kids are back in school now, busily trying to absorb all the knowledge being thrown at them. Kindergarteners are working on reading and writing, older kids are attempting to get the hang of long division, algebra, chemistry, and the great works of literature. College students are honing in on majors trying to nail down the knowledge that can let them have a career in their chosen field. Everyone's learning a lot. But what's the most important thing you learned in school? In all those years, in all those classrooms, what mattered most? Whether it was something a teacher said, a realization on the playground, or anything else, we want to know. That's the topic tonight at 8 p.m. on a call-in program with KUOW's John Moe.
