ONE OF THE PEOPLE CALLING FOR FULL DISCLOSURE IS 38 YEAR-OLD ELSIE BOUDREAU. AS A YOUNG GIRL GROWING UP IN NOME, ALASKA, BOUDREAU SAYS SHE WAS SEXUALLY ABUSED BY A JESUIT PRIEST.

BOUDREAU: "Had they taken the measures to protect me and other children by disclosing that he was a perpetrator I would not have been abused."

BOUDREAU AND 4 OTHER WOMEN SUED THE JESUITS. BOUDREAUíS CASE WAS SETTLED OUT OF COURT LAST YEAR. JOHN MANLY IS A LAWYER REPRESENTING 100 VICTIMS WHO ALLEGE SEXUAL ABUSE BY JESUIT PRIESTS.

MANLY: "Parents need to know and have a right to know their children are safe. Is it possible that right now that here at Seattle University, thereís a Jesuit priest engaged in sexual misconduct with a student? I donít know."

IN A RELEASED STATEMENT, SEATTLE UNIVERSITY SAYS ITíS AWARE OF TWO PRIESTS WHO TAUGHT THERE AND HAD ABUSED MINORS. BOTH ARE DECEASED. ONE WAS MICHAEL TALOUSE, A FACULTY MEMBER BETWEEN 1950-1976. THE UNIVERSITY SAYS IT WILL RELEASE THE NAME OF THE SECOND PRIEST AFTER IT NOTIFIES ALL THE PEOPLE WHO WERE AFFECTED. JESUIT LEADERS SAY THEYíRE NOT TRYING TO WITHOLD INFORMATION. THE REVEREND JOHN WHITNEY HEADS THE OREGON PROVINCE WHICH OVERSEES ABOUT 243 JESUIT PRIESTS IN THE NORTHWEST.

WHITNEY: "We havenít published them as a matter of course while the investigation is forthcomingÖ once your name is published as an abuser, itís very hard to unring that bell.

WHITNEY SAYS PRIESTS ACCUSED OF SEXUAL MISCONDUCT ARE ROUTINELY REMOVED FROM THE MINISTRY WHILE THE CASE IS INVESTIGATED. THOSE FOUND TO BE ABUSIVE ARE KEPT IN A SECURE FACILITY UNDER SUPERVISION. IíM RUBY DE LUNA, KUOW NEWS.
