What Will Alternative Energy Cost?

The results of the mid-term election could translate into a big win for alternative energy. In Washington State, Initiative 937 passed. It promotes conservation and it mandates that 15 percent of our electricity must come from renewable sources by 2020. At the federal level, Democrats in Congress are backing the Apollo Energy Act, also intended to jump-start alternatives to fossil fuels. Today we'll explore what all this means for our energy future and weigh the benefits and the costs.
