Governor Chris Gregoire says her top priority for this legislative session and for the coming two-year budget is to improve education in Washington State. She made clear that her budget would include substantial funding for education. And she's warned legislators that they can try to cut the budget all they'd like, but no cuts will be made to education. Today on The Conversation, we'll be asking local education leaders what one educational reform they want the legislature to implement. But we want to hear from you, too. What's the most important piece of education reform for this session? Is it more teachers? Smaller classes? Better math curriculum? Stronger arts education? What one educational reform do you want to see implemented?

Sherry Carr is President of the Seattle Council PTSA. Her school was on the closure list last year, and she also sat on the Superintendent's Advisory Committee and helped draft the school closure proposal.
