Are Broadcast TV and Newspapers Dying?

Ross Reynolds

Bill Gates says newspapers and broadcast TV are dead. We'll all be reading and watching TV on line. Is he right? Are you using broadcast TV and newspapers less and less?

Newspaper reading is down. Broadcast TV's share of the audience is declining. Gates thinks we'll see a tipping point in the next five years when both media will rapidly decline. But some think these predictions are overblown. They see a long life for broadcast TV and newspapers. There's a history of wrong predictions about media extinction. For example, TV was supposed to kill movies. But is it really happening this time?
