At Last! Free Fitness and Nutrition Advice

How do you start an exercise program and keep it going? What should you be eating every day? All of our circumstances are different. Perhaps you are facing surgery or a life–threatening illness. What foods can help? Or maybe you're training for a marathon. What exercises will increase endurance? What foods keep you going? When it comes to nutrition and fitness, there are always questions. What questions do you have? A local fitness expert and two nutritionists join us with some answers.

Tija Petrovich owns Seattle Fitness in downtown Seattle. She is an American Council on Exercise certified personal trainer and a former body builder. She is also the author of Lighten Up!: Delicious Homestyle Cooking for Lowfat Living.
Alysun Deckert is a Registered Dietician with a masters in Nutrition. She works at the UW Medical Center in the Department of Food and Nutrition; mainly with organ transplant recipients. She is the founder of UWMC Team Transplant, a group of organ transplant recipients, their friends and family, and UWMC staff who train for the Seattle Half Marathon.
Kirsten Thompson has a Master of Public Health, and is a certified Dietician working at the UW Medical Center Food and Nutrition Services. She works mainly with heart and lung patients.
