  • At 2:30 p.m. – Classical Music Reviews with Gavin Borchert
Gavin Borchert shares highlights from a disc of six exuberant 20th–century works. Britten's turbulent Sinfonia da Requiem dates from his years in America in the early 40s. Mark–Anthony Turnage's Three Screaming Popes was inspired by an expressionistic series of paintings by Francis Bacon. Peter Maxwell Davies' An Orkney Wedding, with Sunrise is a glorious tone–painting of a small–town festival that climaxes with the entry of a bagpiper. James MacMillan's Britannia is a brash potpourri/fantasia on British music. These four works are flanked on the disc by two of Elgar's Pomp and Circumstance marches.

At 2:45 p.m. – Odyssey Maritime Discovery Center
Marc Hershman moved to Seattle 30 years ago, around the same time the Seattle Aquarium opened. But Marc felt like something was missing. He wanted people to know the story of Seattle's maritime history. So with a group of colleagues and friends, he founded the Odyssey Maritime Discovery Center. Today, Marc takes Jeannie Yandel on a tour of the Fisheries Gallery at the Center.
