1. Jazz For Kids
The Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra brings unadulterated jazz to a young audience through its annual Jazz for Kids concerts. The orchestra's Executive Director Michael Brockman speaks to Amanda Wilde about why it's so important to expose kids to jazz at an early age.

2. Sonics Soap
A new proposal to the state legislature to publicly fund improvements at the Key Arena and keep the Seattle Sonics in town. Ross Reynolds hears from the legislator making the proposal, anti–stadium funding activist Chris Van Dyke, and you.

3. Big Old Life
Since the band formed in 1999, Rani Arbo and Daisy Mayhem have been mining the richness of musical Americana in their recordings and performances. The 4 piece string band led by fiddler, guitarist and singer Rani Arbo weaves together gospel, funk, swing, and bluegrass. Surviving breast cancer and touring with a toddler are chapters from Rani's own life providing inspiration for the band's latest record called "big old life".

Event: Rani Arbo and Daisy Mayhem play at 'Traditions' in Olympia tomorrow night, Friday March 7 at 8:00 p.m., and the Phinney Neighborhood Center on Saturday night March 8 at 8:00 p.m.
