Elliot Bay Bookstore is leaving Pioneer Square. They've said the neighborhood was a detriment to their already struggling business. Sports fans flood through on their way to games. Homeless and indigent folk fill the sidewalks around shelters and food banks. Fewer and fewer tourists amble down the brick sidewalks. What's wrong with Pioneer Square?
