Robert McChesney is host of public radio's "Media Matters." He's professor of communication at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign. He cofounded the media reform organization Free Press with John Nichols and Josh Silver. They have coauthored several books including "The Death and Life of American Journalism."
John Nichols is the Washington correspondent for The Nation, where he writes "The Beat" news blog. He's a contributing writer for The Progressive and In These Times, and the associate editor of Madison Wisconsin's daily newspaper, Capital Times. He's co–founded Free Press with Robert McChesney and Josh Silver.
