Collaboration And Innovation In Northwest Dance

Dave Beck
07/01/2010

When you think of places where dance innovation happens, you may think first of New York, London, or Paris. But Seattle Dance Critic Alice Kaderlan says a lot of that experimentation is going on right here in Seattle. It's Seattle's geographical location that inspires dancers and other artists to think collaboratively and across disciplines and boundaries. Alice recently saw performances by KT Niehoff, Catherine Cabeen and the Degenerate Art Ensemble. Alice Kaderlan spoke with KUOW's Dave Beck.
