City Council Quarterly

The Seattle City Council has had a busy summer. Drunk and disorderly people can now be fined, roosters can no longer live in Seattle, and exhibits of human remains are banned. Then there's the controversial deep–bore tunnel. The council adopted a resolution supporting the tunnel, despite the provision which places Seattle taxpayers on the hook for any cost overruns. They've also devised a new funding plan for the seawall replacement and agreed to postpone the signing of technical agreements between the city and state until early next year. Councilmembers Tom Rasmussen, Bruce Harrell and Mike O'Brien join us. Email "Weekday" with your questions now.
