Teachers Say "Yes" To A New Contract, "No Confidence" To Goodloe–Johnson: The Seattle school teachers union ratified a new contract and voted "no confidence" in Superintendent Maria Goodloe–Johnson Thursday. KUOW's Phyllis Fletcher reports, and we find out what the school board makes of the votes.

Slouching Towards the Recycling Bin: Seattle inches upward in its goal to recycle 60 percent of its waste. Where's the city falling down? Why don't people recycle more?
