Winter Brews And Brewers

Washington is a good place to be a brewer. There are over 130 breweries in the state, and an average of 15 more apply for a license each month. The beer community is collaborative and friendly, and Seattleites consume a higher percentage of beer than almost any other city in the country. Monday we check in with local brewers and beer aficionados to see how the scene has changed and continues to change. Plus, what makes a good winter brew, and which ones are the best to try out this season? Do you have a favorite winter brew? Let us know at 1.800.289.KUOW (5869) or email "Weekday."
