Puget Sound 'Metropolitan Diary'

The "Metropolitan Diary" is a regular Monday feature in The New York Times. The diary showcases the amusing observations, anecdotes and vignettes New Yorkers encounter in their daily travels through city life. Today we create the Puget Sound edition of the "Metropolitan Diary." Producer Katy Sewall recently saw a fully costumed clown asleep near a park. Producer Sage Van Wing had a naked man apologize for running past her on the sidewalk — twice. What crazy things have you witnessed or overheard recently? What acts of generosity have you experienced? What neighborhood rituals do you appreciate? Help us create a portrait of the spirit of the Puget Sound through the human stories of its inhabitants. Tell us your "Metropolitan Diary" anecdotes. Call 1.800.289.5869 or email "Weekday."
