Tom Keith: Beloved Sound Effect Man For 'A Prarie Home Companion'

Tom Keith — long–time sound effect man for "A Prairie Home Companion" — died unexpectedly on Sunday at the age of 64. Tom Keith was known for creating sound effect the traditional way; not with his voice, but with props. "Weekday" producer Katy Sewall interviewed Tom in March 2009 at the Prairie Home Companion offices in Minnesota. She asked him what his long–term goal was when he started working in radio.
