Jeremy Rifkin is the author of 19 books, including "The End Of Work," "The Biotech Century" and "The Empathic Civilization." He's an adviser to the European Union, a senior lecturer at the Wharton School and the president of the Foundation on Economic Trends in Washington, DC. His new book is "The Third Industrial Revolution: How Lateral Power Is Transforming Energy, The Economy And The World."
