'All In' With Paula Broadwell: General David Petraeus had a 37–year career in the Army before becoming director of the C.I.A. in September, 2011. He commanded US military operations in Afghanistan and led US and coalition forces in Iraq, where the Petraeus Doctrine of counterinsurgency was often credited for turning the war around. How has David Petraeus influenced America's fighting forces? What lessons does his long military service hold for his leadership of America's intelligence agency?

Paula Broadwell is a research associate at Harvard University's Center for Public Leadership and a Ph.D. candidate in the department of war studies at King's College, London. She worked as an embedded author in Afghanistan to research her new book, "All In: The Education Of David Petraeus."
