

Poet Marjorie Manwaring 'On Looking At A Snapshot Of Us Wearing 3-D Glasses'

The miracle of organ donation and Egyptian creation myths intermingle as poet Marjorie Manwaring considers life after a dear friend's passing. The poem is called "On Looking At A Snapshot Of Us Wearing 3–D Glasses" and is featured in her newly released chapbook, "What To Make Of A Diminished Thing" (Dancing Girl Press, 2012).
Marjorie is also the author of "Magic Word" (Pudding House Publications, 2007). Her full–length collection is forthcoming from Mayapple Press in early 2013. She lives in Seattle, where she is a freelance writer/editor, editorial board member of Floating Bridge Press, and co–editor of the online poetry and art journal the DMQ Review. Marjorie was recorded on March 30, 2012.
