Liquor–Store Auction, Part II: The Washington State Liquor Control Board will hold a second auction May 24th to get rid of over a dozen unclaimed state liquor stores. This comes after last month's auction for the rights to 167 liquor stores across the state. But the top bidders for 18 stores didn't pay up. Now the Liquor Control Board is trying it again. Joining us for more is the Pat McLaughlin. He's director of business enterprise at the Liquor Control Board.

Robert Caro Talks Power, Politics And Persistence: Biographer Robert Caro has spent 36 years and 3,388 pages telling the life story of Lyndon Johnson, and he's still not finished. Caro's fourth volume on Johnson, titled "The Passage of Power," came out recently to round praise. Even Bill Clinton gave a it "gee–whiz" review in The New York Times Review of Books. KUOW's Steve Scher talks to Caro about Johnson as well as his process of putting together such massive biographies.
