Report Looks At Impact New Stadium Would Have On Traffic: The City of Seattle is expected to release a study today that looks at the effect a new sports arena may have on traffic in the city. Mayor Mike McGinn is proposing building a $490 million basketball and hockey stadium in an area called SODO, in South Seattle. KUOW's Deborah Wang reports.

Activists Criticize Sound Transit Northgate Parking Proposal: Sound Transit is considering building a 600– to 900–stall parking garage for the Northgate light rail station. Some mass transit activists say Sound Transit should not be encouraging people to drive by building a parking garage. Ross Reynolds speaks with Sound Transit's CEO, Joni Earl.

Charter School Initiative Back On The Ballot? A coalition in favor of charter schools in Washington state filed a last–minute initiative yesterday. This may be the fourth time a charter schools initiative has been on the ballot. Ross Reynolds speaks with the executive director of Stand for Children Washington, one of the groups that proposed this initiative.
