Washington Attorney General Candidates Debate In Spokane: Yesterday the two leading candidates for Washington State Attorney General had their first live debate of the election season. Democrat Bob Ferguson and Republican Reagan Dunn squared off at the Bing Crosby Theater in Spokane. KUOW's Deb Wang reports.

Western State Hospital CEO Resigns: The head of Washington's largest psychiatric hospital is stepping down. Western State Hospital CEO Jess Jamieson announced his resignation to his staff yesterday. The announcement came as the hospital deals with the aftermath of two patients' violent deaths in April. Jamieson spoke with KUOW's John Ryan.
