The Hungers Of Adolescence With Poet Marjorie Manwaring
In "Eskimo Pie," poet Marjorie Manwaring finds an apt metaphor for the hungers of adolescence. The poem is in her chapbook, "What to Make of a Diminished Thing" (Dancing Girl Press, 2012).
Marjorie is also the author of "Magic Word" (Pudding House Publications, 2007). Her full–length collection, "Search for a Velvet–Lined Cape" will be published by Mayapple Press in early 2013. She lives in Seattle, where she is a freelance writer/editor, editorial board member of Floating Bridge Press, and co–editor of the online poetry and art journal the DMQ Review.
