Guitarist Bill Frisell is a true original, yet he is heavily influenced by a great variety of musicians. He says that having grown up with The Beatles, their music is in his blood. His album "All We Are Saying" is Frisell's interpretations of the music of John Lennon.
Frisell explains how he draws from original sound sources, his personal experiences with the music, and other media such as photographs to capture the essence of the magic created by the music of John Lennon. Bill Frisell and his guitar visited the KUOW studios June 12, 2012. Frisell spoke with KUOW's Amanda Wilde.
