Wits With John Moe

Wits is a fun mash–up of life, music, books and pop culture featuring influential creative icons and clever conversation with authors, comedians, musicians and storytellers hosted by John Moe and recorded in front of a live audience at the Fitzgerald Theater in downtown St. Paul, MN.

This episode was recorded live on Friday, June 15, and features Bobcat Goldthwait, comedian, actor, screenwriter and director known for his dark, comic wit. The first film he wrote and directed, "Shakes the Clown," was called by the Boston Globe the "Citizen Cane of alcoholic clown movies." Since then, his films have been called demonically funny and surprisingly sweet. Plus, singer–songwriter and musical icon Steven Page, the lead singer and co–founder of The Barenaked Ladies. Additional appearances by Dave Pirner of Soul Asylum and author Neil Gaiman.
