Marine Toxins Stop Northwest Shellfish Harvesting

Seasonal blooms of toxic marine algae are causing new shellfish bed closures in Washington. But this isn't your usual "red tide" algae. And Oregon officials are closing some beaches to mussel harvesting because of marine toxins in shellfish that can cause paralysis.
