Local Celebrity Spelling Bee Of The Air!

Katy Sewall
09/13/2012 at 9:00 a.m.

Local Celebrity Spelling Bee Of The Air! Seattle's Richard Hugo House hosts its second Local Celebrity Spelling Bee tonight. The annual event is a fundraiser to support the House. We always love a good spelling competition, so today we host a warm–up bee on the air. Visqueen's Rachel Flotard, writer Charles Mudede, performer Suzanne Morrison and novelist Garth Stein join us to compete — and you can help them win! If you're a great speller and you want to act as a lifeline for our contestants this morning, call us at 206.543.5869 (KUOW).

Voices From The Euro Road: Steve Scher is on a road trip, exploring how the financial crisis is shaping voter attitudes towards currency, government and the broader idea of a politically united Europe.
