For some people, headaches are a fact of life. The pain is a constant background noise to all their daily activities. But, it doesn't have to be. Megan Sukys talks with a neurologist from Johns Hopkins University who says people can take control of their headaches.

Drummer Matt Jorgensen is a Seattle native who spent several years playing in New York City's East Village jazz scene. He is one of the Seattle artists featured on the Origins Record label. The company, based in Ballard, is bringing the sounds of Seattle's jazz community to a national audience. The label is getting national airplay and Jorgensen and other Seattle-based artists are winning praise from national critics for their excellent performances and recordings captured on Origin discs.

Matt Jorgensen joins us to talk about the label and share performances from his band Matt Jorgensen + 451. Their recording is titled Quiet Silence on the Origin Arts label.
