Where do you shop for groceries? You may take your choices lightly, but the retailer doesn't.

Grocery stores are in cutthroat competition for your grocery dollar. The margins are thin and the competition is growing. PCC, QFC, Central Market, Larry's, Haggen, Safeway, Albertsons and Metropolitan Market are carving up the region, but waiting in the wings is the Wal-Mart Superstore. What does the competition mean for the quality of food, the wages of the workers and your grocery shopping experience?
