September 11th Mourning Loss

Ross Reynolds
09/11/2002 at 1:00 p.m.

In our lifetime there are few moments when the entire nation focuses on grief. Today is such a day as Americans in public and private remember the terrorist attacks and experience the loss and sadness.

How do we deal with these emotions? Public gatherings, avoidance, humor, art, and in this hour, conversation. We have in studio with us a psychiatrist and religious counselors from a variety of faiths and to talk about the complex emotions of personal loss, emotions we all must encounter in our life and emotions we’re all facing on this day of public grief. What are your reflections on this solemn day?
