The History and Culture of Motorcycles

Motorcycles, hogs, choppers, crotch rockets. Motorcycles are a popular form of transportation with lots of culture and history. Just driving around the city, you may have noticed that motorcyclists always wave when they pass each other, but why do they? Why are motorcycles more than just a mode of transportation? Are you a motorcyclist? How did you start riding? How are you involved in the biking culture? What does your family think? What kind of bike do you choose to ride and what does that say about your personality? With summer coming up and the Annual Antique and Classic Motorcycle Show in Snohomish County this Sunday, we thought we would take the opportunity to talk about motorcycles: the culture, the history, and the people.
